Northern Pike Challenge

Although still a relatively new event for the area, this ice fishing tournament is attended by more than 400 participants. Braving the elements of late winter, hundreds take to the ice pack on the St. Lawrence River near the hamlet of Waddington. The tournament is sponsored by the St. Lawrence River Walleye Association.

The Association also sponsors several other tournaments during the year including: Opening Day Derby (May), the Summer Smackdown (June), and the Fall Classic (September).
