2013 Vendor Registration InformationThe St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce details for our 5th Annual Home, Garden and Business Show; The Really Big Show, scheduled for April 26 & 27, 2013. Once again, National Arbor Day is on the first day of our Show, making it a perfect chance for our local nurseries, garden centers and florists to kick off Spring and the planting season! As with the previous four years, this combination show will be held at Clarkson University’s Cheel Arena in Potsdam, New York. We invite businesses and organizations of all types and sizes to participate and, 1) showcase their products and services, 2) sell their products during the Show, if applicable and 3) network with other business professionals to nurture relationships for future business growth. As a registered exhibitor, you will receive: * Set Up and Tear Down assistance, if needed, * listing in our Show’s program, * 8’ deep by 10’ wide booth, with 8’ high backdrop and 3’ high draped sides, * one 8’ table with chair and wastebasket, * 7" x 40" exhibitor sign and name tags, * one 110v electrical outlet; (limited # of booths), please note on Registration Form, * complimentary morning beverage service, * Corporate Sponsors will enjoy additional benefits and advertising (see Registration Form). "The Really Big Show" will be advertised in several publications to boost attendance. There will be press releases and radio announcements to local and regional media to also assist in these efforts.

Attendance shows that the April dates are the most popular, as folks are looking to begin their spring cleaning and planting. We hope you’ll join us this year to make it the best yet! You will find these selections in the Food Court area, located just past the Ticket Booth upstairs in the Main Lobby. As some of you know from doing previous Shows, it is not always easy to ‘get away’ from your booth if working alone to get lunch or dinner during the Show hours. St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce "The Really Big Show" April 26 & 27, 2013 Exhibitor Agreement 1. General Event Information:
The Chamber, as organizer, makes no representations or warranties regarding the number of persons who will attend the Show, such numbers being impossible to predict accurately ahead of time. The Exhibitor grants to the Chamber the right to use the Exhibitor’s name and logo in connection with the promotion and production of the Show. 2. Assignment of Space:
The Chamber shall assign exhibit space to the Exhibitor for the period of the Expo only, and this does not imply that the same or similar space will be held or offered for future Shows. The Chamber will attempt to honor all requests for exhibit space location, but the Chamber’s decision will be final. 3. Installation and Dismantling:
If special needs are required for set up due to the size of your displays, outside of the Set Up timeframes noted on the Cover Letter, please contact the Chamber office to pre-arrange. 4. Care of Building:
Exhibitor will be held responsible for any damage to the building caused by its employees, representatives or agents. Exhibitors shall not injure or deface the floors or walls of the Show facility. Nothing shall be posted on, tacked, nailed, screwed or otherwise attached to the columns, walls, floors or other parts of arena without permission from the building authority. 5. Exhibitor Cancellation:
If an Exhibitor cancels after March 15, 2013, a refund will be given only if the Chamber is able to sell such booth to another Vendor. Refund will be Registration Fees paid, minus any incurred expenses directly related to such business. If an Exhibitor cancels before March 15, 2013, a refund will be given, (minus any incurred expenses directly related to such business, if any). 6. Indemnity and Limitation of Liability:
Neither the St. Lawrence County Chamber, the State of New York, nor Cheel Campus Center & Arena or any of their officers, agents, employees, or other representatives shall be held liable for; and they are hereby released from any damage, loss, harm or injury to the person or property of the Exhibitor. Under no circumstances shall the Chamber be liable for lost profits, or other indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages in connection with the Show. Exhibitor is solely responsible for the security of their property and shall obtain appropriate casualty insurance. All property of Exhibitor is understood to remain in its sole care, custody and control at site and in transit. 7. Taxes and Licenses:
The Exhibitor shall be responsible for obtaining all licenses, permits and approvals under Local, State or Federal law applicable to its activity (i.e. from the NYS Dept. of Health or Ag & Markets). All Exhibitors are responsible for obtaining all tax identification numbers and paying all taxes, license fees and other charges that become due to any governmental authority in connection with the Show.
