Coffee with Colleges: Business Opportunity, Canton

Join representatives from the four Canton / Potsdam colleges in a casual networking event in this new 'Coffee with the Colleges' series. Businesses are invited to meet college representatives and enjoy refreshments. The event will include table discussions on what opportunities and challenges exist with 'how we currently do business'.

This 2nd annual event was brought to you by the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Northern New York Community Foundation, Gray & Gray and Associates Certified Public Accountants, and DH Leonard Consulting & Grantwriting Services LLC, for non-profit organizations and leaders in the North Country.

Monthly Webinars:

This program is offered on the first Wednesday (typically) of every month from noon to 1 pm. Specific topics are designed to offer relevant information within the lunchtime hour. The webinar is free. You will need a computer, internet, and speakers. Webinars are recorded and will be made available.

Nicole Ouellette, Owner of Breaking Even Communications will explain and demonstrate how to utilize a few, handy tools for communicating with your clients and customers. This webinar will cover three great options:
1) Zoom (for holding virtual meetings with individuals or groups)
2) Loom (for recording screencasts within Google Chrome)
3) ManyChat (for automated messages on your facebook pages)

Membership and Dues

The St. Lawrence County Chamber offers a tiered membership that runs on a calendar cycle, from January 1 through December 31. Membership dues are based on the chosen tier level and number of full-time, part-time and seasonal employees.
