Prepare Your Business for 2019, Workshop in Potsdam
A morning seminar sharing valuable information to help businesses prepare for 2019 will be held on Thursday, December 13th from 9:30 – 11:30 AM at the Hampton Inn in Potsdam, NY. The seminar ‘Preparing Your Business for the New Year’, will be presented by Northern Insuring Agency, INC. and sponsored by the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.
This professional seminar will cover the following business compliance topics for 2019, including NYS Paid Family Leave, NYS Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, Overtime Rule, Minimum Wage Updates, and more. Coffee, tea, and pastries will be provided.

Coffee with Colleges: Business Opportunity, Canton
Representatives from the four Canton / Potsdam colleges joined local businesses in a casual networking event on Thursday, November 29th at the Best Western Universtiy Inn at the debut of a new networking series, 'Coffee with the Colleges'. Stay tuned for information about our next 'Coffee with the Colleges' event.

2nd Annual Non-Profit Conference
This 2nd annual event was brought to you by the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Northern New York Community Foundation, Gray & Gray and Associates Certified Public Accountants, and DH Leonard Consulting & Grantwriting Services LLC, for non-profit organizations and leaders in the North Country.

This program is offered on the first Wednesday (typically) of every month from noon to 1 pm. Specific topics are designed to offer relevant information within the lunchtime hour. The webinar is free. You will need a computer, internet, and speakers. Webinars are recorded and will be made available.

Membership and Dues:
The St. Lawrence County Chamber offers a tiered membership that runs on a calendar cycle, from January 1 through December 31. Membership dues are based on the chosen tier level and number of full-time, part-time and seasonal employees.
