Moving to St. Lawrence County
St. Lawrence County is located along the St. Lawrence River in northern New York State. It borders Franklin, Lewis and Jefferson counties in New York and Ontario, Canada. It is approximately 2,822 square miles, and takes about an hour and a half to drive from end to end to side to side. It is considered a rural county with 32 towns, 14 village and one of the smallest cities in the state, Ogdensburg. The colleges add ethnic diversity to the populations in the Canton and Potsdam area, otherwise the population over all is 95% white.
