Recommended Fishing Tackle & Equipment
- 1 fishing rod(pole) capable of casting a 3 ounce sinker, 12 feet long preferred
- 1 Fishing reel big enough to hold 200 yards of 15 lb mainline and 40 yards of 60-80 LB snag leader braided line to avoid being cut off on rocks
- Good quality line as above
- A Bankstick to support your rod(pole)
- Sinkers in 2,3 and 4 ounce sizes
- Hooks in size 4 and 2
- Something to sit on, a lawn chair or similar.
- Something to give shade or shelter from rain (poncho or other rain gear).
- Sunblock and mosquito repellent.
Suitable equipment will be available for rent from Ed's bait and tackle in Waddington or the Riverview Motel Waddington. This is on a first come first served basis and can be reserved in advance.
