Thunder on Wheathouse Bay

Thunder on Wheathouse Bay is a fun and exciting family event. Watch the in-board hydroplanes take to the St. Lawrence River for fast action competition. Six classes of racing is offered and sanctioned by both the APBA (American Power Boat Association) and the CBF (Canadian Boating Federation). Boat classes include 1.5L Stock; 1.0L Modified; 2.5L Stock, 5L Stock, Can/Am Pro Stock; and Unlimited Lights.

The event is held at Wheathouse Bay, located off lower Wall Street in Ogdensburg, NY. The races take place just west of the Ogdensburg/Prescott Bridge and just east of the Port of Ogdensburg.
