Waddington
offers great access and fishing on the St. Lawrence River. As usual, the big river in this area is home to large populations of gamefish. Walleye and northern pike are the favorite gamefish of local anglers. Walleye in the 7 - 9 pound range are often caught and 10 - 13 pounders are not unusual. Bays with weed beds near deep water drop-offs are excellent pike producing areas. Smallmouth populations are widespread and muskie trolling is often rewarded.
